Project Requirements
GlassHouse Turkey SAP Basis team is managing more than 500 SAP SID’s for more than 80 customers. As part of the service, team is providing periodic system healthcheck reports to customers. In addition to standard service customers, there are Application Monitoring as a Service customers whose SAP applications are monitored 24/7.
GlassHouse Turkey needed a solution to streamline and automate periodic reporting and Real Time Monitoring within the same platform. This platform should also provide predictive reports for capacity planning to be able to plan infrastructure investments both for GlassHouse Turkey and it’s SAP customers who are mainly running on SAP HANA database.

Avantra AIOps Platform
Initially, we implemented SAP Daily Checks and Weekly Reporting for two pilot SAP Managed Service customers. With the introduction of the new AIOps platform, SAP systems now benefit from enhanced visibility, leveraging historical reporting data for more effective comparisons.
After six months of successfully implementing the AIOps platform for the pilot customers, we decided to expand the rollout to all SAP Managed Service customers.

Solution-based Best Practices
AIOps platform is SAP solution aware which makes it easily configure new systems and apply best practice system checks.
Improved Productivity
Weekly system check per SID improved by reducing duration from 60 mins to 5 mins.
Increased System Visibility
Existing weekly control list is having 19 controls for ABAP based systems only. With AIOps platform, more than 90 control applicable for different SAP solutions including but not limited to BW, PI/PO, S/4HANA, TREX, Web Dispatcher.
Dashboard & Reporting
Platform provides Predictive Capacity Planning Reports in addition to Weekly Reports and custom reports.
Automation
Automation capabilities provided to team including System Discovery, Start/Stop SAP Systems, +Kernel Upgrade, SAP System Refresh and Workflows.
Security
Security features such as SAP Security Custom Checks, +Check & Fix Password Policy Against SAP Security Baseline, SuSE Hardening and Automatic Sytem Change Detection available now.
